Pump Up the Volume and Shop ISO Beauty Black Friday Deal!

Take a shower using any shampoo and conditioner. Remember to always use a conditioner so your hair doesn't dry out from the straightener!

Rinse your hair with cold water before getting out. This locks moisture in your hair and prevents some frizzing.

Wrap your wet hair in a towel for 20 minutes.

  • After about five minutes, remove the towel and comb your hair using a detangling (or wide-tooth) comb, then put the towel back on for the last 15 minutes. Don't use a brush because brushing wet hair can cause breakage and damage to the hair.
4
Remove the towel again and re-comb your hair.

5
Apply straightening ISO Beauty Black Diamond Crystal spray. Make sure to cover all areas of your hair, especially the ends, if you don't this can lead to breakages, split and dry thin hair.

Blow dry your hair section by section using a round brush for best effect.

8
Straighten your hair section by section using a flat iron.

No Regrets Faux Bob

We've all done it, had that urge for a change, make the first available appointment with our stylist and then wonder how 5 inches of our hair has ended up on the salon floor!

Sometimes this scenario results in a "Why didn't I do this forever ago?" but more often than not we regret our impulsive behavior, and the 2-year process of growing our hair long starts all over.

So we've decided to take a note from some of our favorite celebs and try a Faux Bob the next time we feel that itch to ditch our locks!

STEP 1
Create loose curls for volume.

STEP 2
Part hair into 3 horizontal sections (you should have a section at the crown of the head, the middle, and at the nape).

STEP 3
Take the section at the nape of the neck, tease it, and secure into a messy bun.

STEP 4
Starting with the middle section, tuck pieces of hair under the bun creating a 'Bob' shape. Repeat this process until all pieces are tucked. You can play with the pieces closes to the face creating a pretty wave or leaving loose curls.

STEP 5
Spray with a firm hold styling spray, and enjoy your new do without regret!

3 Steps To Salon Worthy Hair

Ever wonder why when you blow dry your hair it goes something like this:

But when your stylist gets their magic hands on those tresses you look like a Victoria Secret model?

Well, we have a an easy tutorial that will give you salon worthy hair every day of the week!

1. Start by combing a Smoothing Serum through damp hair (combing will help to evenly distribute the product).

2. Section off your hair and start with small manageable sections at the back. Make sure that your dryer is on high heat and if you have a nozzle be sure to attach it. Dry each section thoroughly from root to end pointing the dryer downward, toward the ends.

3. Finish with a cold blast! Go back and round brush each section quickly with the dryer on cool. This will set your hair. Add a small amount of shine serum or styling spray... Then take your gorgeous hair for a spin!

3 Classic Holiday Hairstyles

It's that time again, the Holiday countdown has begun, and even more importantly Holiday party season is in full swing!

Next to making sure that you've found just the right dress, deciding on a hairstyle that you know will work come rain or shine can be nearly impossible. So we've come up with 3 classic hairstyles that will help you avoid the "Oh no, my hair isn't cooperating!" moment just before you are set to leave for the party  of the year!

The Chignon

French for "knot," the Chignon can be accomplished in minutes flat, and is a great look when you don't have time to fuss or to wash (hey, we're not judging... we know just how busy life can get).  Simply twist your hair into a knot or a bun at the nape of your neck and secure with a hair tie or bobby pins. You can play around with the placement right, left, or center.

The French Twist

We love just how feminine the French Twist is, not to mention every major starlet has sported it on the red carpet at sometime or another. Simply brush hair into a pony at the nape of your neck then start twisting hair straight up. Pull toward the right and tuck. Secure with bobby pins. You can go super sleek or soft and messy.

The French Braid

Apparently, French women know how to accomplish amazing party hair. The classic French Braid can add a girly touch to your Holiday look. If you don't know just how to accomplish it on your own, grab a friend to help you out! There's nothing more fun than getting ready with the girls!
