GOLDEN GLOBES 2013: Classic, Glamourous and Daring Hair on the Red Carpet

The Golden Globes are arguably the most fun Hollywood gets to have all year: with wise-cracks and wine, our favorite stars are often more relaxed and outright hilarious than any other awards show by far. Despite the informal atmosphere, our favorite celebs did not disappoint last night -- from the classic pin-up look that seemed to run rampant through the Globes, to more soft, silky affairs, here are some of our favorite hairstyles from last night.

AMANDA SEYFRIED

Famous for her doe-like eyes and angelic features, Seyfried went bold last night with a revealing lace dress and gorgeous wavy blonde locks that nearly sent us off the deep end. Seyfried played it smart last night, using her hairstyle as something of a stand-out accessory. A simple, but sassy look, Amanda's (or her stylist's) mastery of her own look made her shine all night.

JESSICA ALBA

By now we've all heard about her 5.8 million dollar necklace, but let's focus on the real treasure here: those curls! Reminding us of Old Hollywood glamour with every bounce of her golden locks, Alba kept it classy and modern with a rich ombre hairstyle, a gorgeous peach ensemble, and a splash of stand-out color in her matte orange lipstick. To die for!

PSST! If you can't live without these looks, make sure to check out our 5 Piece Curling Iron Set: For Amanda's beautiful big waves, we recommend our 32mm barrel ... for smaller, sexy curls like Jessica's, try our 19 or 25mm barrels!

Last, but most certainly not least...

LUCY LIU

Elementary star Lucy Liu was arguably one of the most daring stars on the red carpet last night. Channeling some kind of couture goddess Mother Nature, Liu was gorgeous from head to toe. Her messy fishtail braid pulled her simple, but elegant look together, creating something of an ethereal beauty for Hollywood to pine over. Even though she's been in the biz longer than some of our readers have been alive, Lucy Liu constantly reminds us that she was made to wow the world. Can't wait to get that braid? Here's an easy tutorial!
